I also opted to have the ducts sanitized Leaving my house smelling so fresh. They even looked at my dryer vent pipe and investigated and resolved the problem I was having as well. I would highly recommend if you need this type of work done.

I called to get a diagnosis for my a/c unit but on why it wasn’t working. Ray told me that there was a need to replace the contactor unit and a minor wire repair. Quoted me a price near $600. I felt it was a bit high. So I called another HVAC team to price compare before i agreed to that deal and was told $250 would be the cost. I opted to just get the diagnosis and recommendations. He got aggravated by that, said a few words but ultimately accepted my decision. He grabbed his tools and I signed the agreement for the diagnosis/recommendations , for which I paid $70. But I was never sent the actually diagnosis or receipt via email for the work?! Called the office for it, and still no resolution. The whole situation I felt was handled very unprofessionally.

We had quite the unique problem last week with some Florida wildlife gaining access to our ductwork and then forgetting its way out. Needless to say the smell was something I will not soon forget. The unit was damaged so was the ductwork. We ended up deciding to replace both of our units, since they were on the older side and Momentum gave us a great deal! We had 5 technicians in and out for 3 days or replacement, repair and duct cleaning. The service was stellar, friendly and best of all immediate. We had quite the unique problem last week with some Florida wildlife gaining access to our ductwork and then forgetting its way out. Needless to say the smell was something I will not soon forget. The unit was damaged so was the ductwork. We ended up deciding to replace both of our units, since they were on the older side and Momentum gave us a great deal! We had 5 technicians in and out for 3 days or replacement, repair and duct cleaning. The service was stellar, friendly and best of all immediate. We recently had Momentum replace both a/c units in our home. As everyone knows this is not an inexpensive project but is needed in this part of the country. We had requested a technician to come out and look at our upstairs unit as we have had nothing but trouble with it cutting in and out. We had even had it replaced in the past through a local individual. The problem always persisted. The downstairs unit was still working but struggling. That unit was 20 years old at this point so we felt we should address this before it gave up. We felt that Momentum provided a fair estimate and we were pleased to go ahead with the replacements.
There are a couple of things I would like to pass on.
1. The technician, Andrew, was highly knowledgeable and experienced. He ensured I understood what and why we were having the issues. As a maritime electrical technician, I was able to follow what he was explaining thanks to the marine engineers I work with. Speaking with Andrew, we never once felt we were being played so he can make a sale so to say. He was genuinely honest about our situation. We greatly appreciated this.
2. William and the installation team that arrived were very polite and professional. They ensured I was well informed about what they were about to do and how that was going to happen.
3. Every member was neat, clean and presentable. As maintenance technician myself, it can be very difficult to maintain clothing that has not left stains and tears. I was impressed with the team’s appearance considering the job that they regularly perform.
4. When working in the house, the team had taken every precaution to prevent any mess or damage. The team also kept any possible interruptions to an absolute minimum. The only evidence that anyone had been here, where the newly installed units.
5. When the installation was completed, I was shown how the new thermostats worked, Wi-Fi connection and use of the Trane mobile application and given all the appropriate paperwork.
Our overall experience with Momentum A/C and their team was exceptional! From speaking with the office personnel to dealing with the service technician and installation team was outstanding. We would recommend Momentum A/C all day long!

I have had the pleasure of meeting my AC tech Dominic M from Momentum AC & Electric. He was here on time; very professional and knowledgeable. I have had other techs from other companies take apart the whole unit and not resolve the issue after 3hrs leaving “extra” screws. But Dominic observed everything and found the issue within minutes and resolved it. I would recommend this company hands down.. 5 stars from me for sure!

Day one, service technician showed up on time was able to figure out most of my problem and got my AC running properly. He even cleaned up after himself.
Day two, service technicians inspected duct work. Said they couldn’t get to the area of most concern, so it was skipped. My outside attic vent is now damaged and is marred. They sort of cleaned up the mess.
Day three, technicians came and cleaned my vents… skipping the dryer vent because when I asked if they were doing that too I didn’t specify that I wanted it done… that’s why I asked.
I was told it would be $275 more for the dryer vent.
This after spending nearly $1700 altogether on a two year-old AC unit.
Sadly, I will not be using the momentum in the future.
Unfortunately, this also means less stars, less satisfied.

Josh replaced our AC's start capacitor. And he did a wonderful job. Its the first time that someone work so fast, clean., and properly. We are very happy with his service. And surprisingly our air conditioner its cooling better than ever. He did an amazing job as he also replaced some wires that were burned. I hope this company value employees like Josh.

He was very personable and knew exactly how to fix the issue. After the actuator was installed we spent some time making certain everything worked properly. He still wasn't happy about the airflow to the second zone and went into the attic to see what the issue was. He came back with pictures that showed several kinks and tears in the duct system and I asked for a quote to repair the duct system. I found Momentum AC from Google based on very positive reviews. Installed a brand new AC system last Feb. and paid for over $8000 for it. I expected this system to last a long time and be worry free for a while, as the old one lasted for near 20 years. However, only after a year and 3 months, unfortunately passed Momentum AC's 1 year full warranty, the system broke. I really appreciate Momentum AC's prompt response and fix, but only found out that they replaced the capacitor and charged me $400 for it plus service and diagnostic fees. When I asked for the expected lifetime for whatever capacitor that they installed (the old one last year, and the newly replaced one), I was told that it could be random, and unfortunately such capacitors are not under Momentum AC's parts warranty. That means that I should expect the system to be broken any time again and I have to pay big bucks for them each time. I would love to continue the business with Momentum AC, but after this, I have to think alternatives. A business' reputation is not just based on the service they do normally, but rather on how they can handle a customer's adversity and improve itself upon it. Additional note: just found out that the capacitor that they replaced costs around $12 at Amazon and the invoice shows that I was charged $400 for this part. Yuck. What else should I say?

The owner of Momentum AC called which showed me this is a serious company and really cares about its customers. I am glad we reached to an agreement that Momentum AC gave me a partial refund to settle this incident. Will likely continue my business with this company and will keep updating this review if necessary.

Update - In May, 2022 I had Momentum come and move a mini-split condenser so we could put a new roof on. That went fine.
In November, 2023, I called them out to look at the mini-splits that were giving off a strange burning smell. The technician told me that there was an electrical short and that the units were “obsolete” both needed to be replaced for like 2k, or they could catch on fire. Sucks, but I wrote him a check for over a thousand dollars as a deposit.
Once the technician left and my head cleared a little from the thought of my house burning down, I called another a/c company which came out the same day and told me the blower fans on the units just needed to be cleaned, and that there was no evidence of a short, and that the mini splits weren’t throwing any sort of code.
I called Momentum and told them not to cash the check, and to cancel the order for the new mini splits. Then, in an abundance of caution I also put a stop payment on the check. Good thing I did. A week later, Momentum called me and told me that my check wouldn’t cash. O RLY? I was really disappointed that they tried to rip me off to do unnecessary work and then tried to cash a check they had no business cashing. I have used the other company that saved me thousands of dollars multiple times since November 2023. Momentum had been really good until they totally lost my trust.

We have been very impressed with momentum AC. The communication has been excellent and all the techs have been helpful and friendly. We have seen Andrew, Josh, and Emmanuel and they have all been wonderful to work with. Aaron from Momentum AC was fantastic. He was incredibly thorough and took the time to make sure all our concerns were fully addressed. Aaron Thomas arrived at my house to fix the AC. Before he started I shared with him some things that I have noticed with the AC to maybe help him pin point the problem and to use process of elimination to find the solution. He listened to what I had to say and then I moved out of his way and let him work his magic. He was professional and polite. It only took him about an hour to run the tests that he needed and the AC kicked on and starting working again. He was fast and efficient compared to most other HVAC companies I have had in the past that take usually all day. I’d highly recommend Aaron to anyone if they have issues with their HVAC system. 10/10 customer satisfaction, fast and efficient and customer service. 5 stars here!

3 Jun2025. Ryan Cirillo just completed my AC checkup for the year. Efficient and did not leave a mess. Also did some extra "reaching out" to see if he could fix the temp sensor on the Tstat without replacing the whole thing. Probably gong to see up for that unfortunately. Still highly recommend these folks.
had Momentum AC replace a condensation drain line in the attic to outside. Their pricing was competitive and lower than the competition. The technicians, Renato and Jesus were friendly, competent, and efficient. They spent some time verifying that it was functioning properly and not leaking.
They also found a dead electrical part within the condensing unit and asked if I wanted it replaced. They located the new part, got it and installed it. They spent some time changing settings and measuring cooling output to ensure the new part and system were operating properly.
Good team and a good company so far. I'll update this the next time I need them to work on my system. Off to a great start.

Ryan was an awesome technician. He listened to our concerns, was willing to adjust his plan and come up with solutions based on our strange attic placement, and made an effort to ensure our needs were met. We actually didn’t realize the company offered insulation services until Ryan mentioned it, and now we plan on signing up with their financing program as soon as TECO does our evaluation 🙂 We’ve had nothing but positive experiences with the company so far. We also had Jared come out yesterday to analyze the original issue, and he was so kind!
