This is the best air condition outfit I have ever dealt with !! After installing brand new unit, I can always call with questions and if there is an issue, Daniel sends his people right away. !! I had a problem yesterday that was outside of warranty Timeline, by the afternoon. Technician was there fixed everything In no time .. the price was more than fair, the treatment was fantastic !! I cannot say enough about how great it is to do business with momentum air-conditioning company if you have any issues, I highly recommend you ask them first. They are honest prompt, and very, very fair priced!!! Very important I option to have in Florida!!!

After using this company for routine maintenance for the past year, my biggest recommendation is to always get a second opinion if they recommend replacing your equipment. If possible, I would also suggest taking photos or videos of your coils and equipment before they come out for service. Trust me on this. Most recently, they came out for their annual maintenance visit on August 26. They reported that two of my four office AC units were low on refrigerant, so they added refrigerant and performed a dye leak test to locate the leaks. The total charge to test the two units and add refrigerant was $1,600. Two days later, a different technician came out and reported finding a leak in only one of the two units. I was then given the option of replacing the coil or replacing the entire unit. While I was considering my options, just a few days later another one of my AC units stopped working properly. At that point, I decided to contact a different HVAC company for a second opinion. Their technician came out and found that the condensate drain on the malfunctioning unit was clogged and simply needed to be cleaned out.It was obviously not cleaned the week prior during momentum's maintenance visit. We also asked the second company's technician to recheck the two units for refrigerant leaks while he was there. He found no leaks in either unit. Based on this experience, I decided to cancel my maintenance contract. It was very concerning to me that routine maintenance issues, such as a clogged condensate drain line, were not identified, while I was being presented with recommendations for costly coil or equipment replacement. The twist in all of this came when the first technician contacted my office manager and told her that he had been fired from the company for being "too honest." I obviously cannot verify everything behind that statement, but given everything that had happened, it added another level of concern for me. At this point, there were simply too many red flags for me to feel comfortable continuing with this company.

Yea that service wasn't good at all. Paid $350 for drain system flush and next day it went out again and today they told me it was the capacitor. Why did I have to pay for the flush in the first place? Now I am $350 in the hole and have to pay $350 again for a capacitor...Is this how you scam people????

What a pleasure it was to have such a pleasant. qualified team in my home. They all treated my home like their own. They explained everything and at times gave me different options how to route the wiring. They consistantly thought of the customer, not the easiest way to do thing. Your company should be proud of this team. I wish repairing a home could always be this easy. You have to be proud of this team. They are above average in every aspect. Best of all there were never complaints or heated discussions on how to handle the project. They discussed everything every step of the way and kept a smile and happiness in their voices. Technicians Feliciano & Jaylon did a fantastic job cleaning my ducts. You could tell they knew what they were doing because they were so efficient at it. I also opted to have the ducts sanitized Leaving my house smelling so fresh. They even looked at my dryer vent pipe and investigated and resolved the problem I was having as well. I would highly recommend if you need this type of work done.

I had an electrical issue with a rental property of mine. After a different company charged me a small fortune to show up late, do a bunch of exploratory work, and then leave part way through because wouldn’t even step foot in the house without someone being there (hard to guarantee with a rental), I called Momentum and they sent Matt over who immediately discovered and resolved what ended up being a really simple issue. Initially we were pleased with the first visit by tech Josh. He did some work on our AC system, added refrigerant, and said that could be the solution to our problem, inadequate cooling. He came back the next day to be sure we had no leaks. In the meantime our home was cooling well. When he returned he assessed the attic component of our HVAC and informed us that we indeed had a leak and needed a new hvac system. He would send us quotes for a new unit no later than the next day. We never heard from him again. That was June 22 2026. Yesterday Sep 1 2026 we get a call wanting payment for a maintenance service on our HVAC system which their tech deemed needed replacement. The system is still cooling our home, which indicates to us that we were deceived about needing a new unit and the first repairs enacted by Josh worked.I do not trust this company now.

I had rats in the attic and they urinated everywhere. I needed the insulation and the ductwork replaced and Momentum delivered. Hector and Sebastian did a great job in the brutal heat. Hector in particular brought a dedication to the task of sanitizing and deodorizing the attic space that I hadn't seen in any other AC contractor who submitted a bid. I called to get a diagnosis for my a/c unit but on why it wasn’t working. Ray told me that there was a need to replace the contactor unit and a minor wire repair. Quoted me a price near $600. I felt it was a bit high. So I called another HVAC team to price compare before i agreed to that deal and was told $250 would be the cost. I opted to just get the diagnosis and recommendations. He got aggravated by that, said a few words but ultimately accepted my decision. He grabbed his tools and I signed the agreement for the diagnosis/recommendations , for which I paid $70. But I was never sent the actually diagnosis or receipt via email for the work?! Called the office for it, and still no resolution. The whole situation I felt was handled very unprofessionally.

I do not recommend this company. They had to come out multiple times to try to fix my AC, but the issue was never properly resolved. I eventually hired another company, which not only fixed the problem but was also less expensive. During their inspection, they informed me that wires had been cut during the troubleshooting process by the previous company. I called to discuss my concerns and ask to speak with a manager. I was connected to the owner, and the conversation was very disappointing. Rather than listening to my concerns about the cut wires and my dissatisfaction with the service, he became argumentative, raised his voice, and was unprofessional throughout the call. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and customer service. Based on my experience, I would not use this company again and cannot recommend them to others.

I would highly recommend Momentum AC & Electric. We had a 50amp outlet installed for our new car and a dishwasher electrical hook up installed. Very reasonably priced. Matt provided the quote and took the time to walk through the steps on what they would do, drilling, etc. Him and his helper, Sergio, did a fantastic job and will certainly be in contact with them in the future for any future electrical repairs.

We had quite the unique problem last week with some Florida wildlife gaining access to our ductwork and then forgetting its way out. Needless to say the smell was something I will not soon forget. The unit was damaged so was the ductwork. We ended up deciding to replace both of our units, since they were on the older side and Momentum gave us a great deal! We had 5 technicians in and out for 3 days or replacement, repair and duct cleaning. The service was stellar, friendly and best of all immediate. We recently had Momentum replace both a/c units in our home. As everyone knows this is not an inexpensive project but is needed in this part of the country. We had requested a technician to come out and look at our upstairs unit as we have had nothing but trouble with it cutting in and out. We had even had it replaced in the past through a local individual. The problem always persisted. The downstairs unit was still working but struggling. That unit was 20 years old at this point so we felt we should address this before it gave up. We felt that Momentum provided a fair estimate and we were pleased to go ahead with the replacements. There are a couple of things I would like to pass on. 1. The technician, Andrew, was highly knowledgeable and experienced. He ensured I understood what and why we were having the issues. As a maritime electrical technician, I was able to follow what he was explaining thanks to the marine engineers I work with. Speaking with Andrew, we never once felt we were being played so he can make a sale so to say. He was genuinely honest about our situation. We greatly appreciated this. 2. William and the installation team that arrived were very polite and professional. They ensured I was well informed about what they were about to do and how that was going to happen. 3. Every member was neat, clean and presentable. As maintenance technician myself, it can be very difficult to maintain clothing that has not left stains and tears. I was impressed with the team’s appearance considering the job that they regularly perform. 4. When working in the house, the team had taken every precaution to prevent any mess or damage. The team also kept any possible interruptions to an absolute minimum. The only evidence that anyone had been here, where the newly installed units. 5. When the installation was completed, I was shown how the new thermostats worked, Wi-Fi connection and use of the Trane mobile application and given all the appropriate paperwork. Our overall experience with Momentum A/C and their team was exceptional! From speaking with the office personnel to dealing with the service technician and installation team was outstanding. We would recommend Momentum A/C all day long!

I have had the pleasure of meeting my AC tech Dominic M from Momentum AC & Electric. He was here on time; very professional and knowledgeable. I have had other techs from other companies take apart the whole unit and not resolve the issue after 3hrs leaving “extra” screws. Day one, service technician showed up on time was able to figure out most of my problem and got my AC running properly. He even cleaned up after himself. Day two, service technicians inspected duct work. Said they couldn’t get to the area of most concern, so it was skipped. My outside attic vent is now damaged and is marred. They sort of cleaned up the mess. Day three, technicians came and cleaned my vents… skipping the dryer vent because when I asked if they were doing that too I didn’t specify that I wanted it done… that’s why I asked. I was told it would be $275 more for the dryer vent. This after spending nearly $1700 altogether on a two year-old AC unit. Sadly, I will not be using the momentum in the future. Unfortunately, this also means less stars, less satisfied.

Hey just wanted to shout out Josh the technician/ supervisor that showed up here today to fix our unit. The damage was pretty severe and normally it would be a multi visit, multi day process just with all the approvals from property management and everything else. But he was super helpful and great and went the extra step to make some calls and get all approvals done so he could repair the same day. Which we were not expecting at all and were greatly thankful for. Josh is great!

I hired Momentum AC for the first time to install a new damper actuator on our dual zone AC system. Dominic Maddie arrived and we discussed the project. He was very personable and knew exactly how to fix the issue. After the actuator was installed we spent some time making certain everything worked properly. He still wasn't happy about the airflow to the second zone and went into the attic to see what the issue was. He came back with pictures that showed several kinks and tears in the duct system and I asked for a quote to repair the duct system. No high pressure sales like many other AC companies - just a pure professional. He went over and above and now Momentum AC and Dominic will be my new AC service company.

Juan was awesome! Very nice guy. He did an amazing job installing both AC units. The measurements were wrong from the previous technician so Juan addressed the situation without hesitation. He made room for it to fit in the wall then Sealed it up for me. I was hit by a car so I am in a wheelchair. Juan wanted to make sure that everything was perfect so I didn't run into any issues. It's great to see someone who is good and smart about their job duties. In a world where good workers are rare Juan shines. I am very happy to finally have AC again 10 stars

I found Momentum AC from Google based on very positive reviews. Installed a brand new AC system last Feb. and paid for over $8000 for it. I expected this system to last a long time and be worry free for a while, as the old one lasted for near 20 years. However, only after a year and 3 months, unfortunately passed Momentum AC's 1 year full warranty, the system broke. I really appreciate Momentum AC's prompt response and fix, but only found out that they replaced the capacitor and charged me $400 for it plus service and diagnostic fees. When I asked for the expected lifetime for whatever capacitor that they installed (the old one last year, and the newly replaced one), I was told that it could be random, and unfortunately such capacitors are not under Momentum AC's parts warranty. That means that I should expect the system to be broken any time again and I have to pay big bucks for them each time. I would love to continue the business with Momentum AC, but after this, I have to think alternatives. A business' reputation is not just based on the service they do normally, but rather on how they can handle a customer's adversity and improve itself upon it. Additional note: just found out that the capacitor that they replaced costs around $12 at Amazon and the invoice shows that I was charged $400 for this part. Yuck. What else should I say? Update on 06/12/2024: The owner of Momentum AC called which showed me this is a serious company and really cares about its customers. I am glad we reached to an agreement that Momentum AC gave me a partial refund to settle this incident. Will likely continue my business with this company and will keep updating this review if necessary. Update on 12/19/2025: Since the initial brand new installation over two and half years ago, my system has been broken 5 times. To be fair, among them, one was totally not related with the system and installation, but all others are. I don't know if I am just so unlucky or something else. Today, my tenant reported that it is broken again, and after the technician arrived, I got a call for my approval of cleaning drain clogging for $400 (with 10% discount to $360). 30 minutes later, got another call from the admin asking me to pay before technician leaves. I told her that I would pay online after I see the statement of work and bill details, and then I was put on hold. I just hang up the call and am updating my review here. Not to mention all the time and energy dealing with it so many times, and my tenant not having AC during the time, I paid quite some premium to fix them, only in 2.5 years of service of a brand new system. Now they are collecting money from me over the phone before the technician leaves ...... What else should I say? Frustration for the system and their practice. I may have to find another vendor to replace such a faulty system soon.

I had a different company come “fix” my Ac, they came out a few times sent different techs but the problem was only fix for a few days maybe a week or so before it just stopped working again!!! After loosing money and no progress I decided to call Momentum Thank Youuuu MOMENTUM for helping me the first time around!!!! Your tech Jerry was awesome very knowledgeable and very professional he explained to my husband what was the root of the problem in details and got it fixed the same day!!! Update - In May, 2022 I had Momentum come and move a mini-split condenser so we could put a new roof on. That went fine. In November, 2023, I called them out to look at the mini-splits that were giving off a strange burning smell. The technician told me that there was an electrical short and that the units were “obsolete” both needed to be replaced for like 2k, or they could catch on fire. Sucks, but I wrote him a check for over a thousand dollars as a deposit. Once the technician left and my head cleared a little from the thought of my house burning down, I called another a/c company which came out the same day and told me the blower fans on the units just needed to be cleaned, and that there was no evidence of a short, and that the mini splits weren’t throwing any sort of code. I called Momentum and told them not to cash the check, and to cancel the order for the new mini splits. Then, in an abundance of caution I also put a stop payment on the check. Good thing I did. A week later, Momentum called me and told me that my check wouldn’t cash. O RLY? I was really disappointed that they tried to rip me off to do unnecessary work and then tried to cash a check they had no business cashing. I have used the other company that saved me thousands of dollars multiple times since November 2023. Momentum had been really good until they totally lost my trust. February 2022 Review: Momentum came out to do a warranty repair on our heating system. They came within an hour of when I called, fixed the problem, and didn’t charge for it. The technician went above and beyond to diagnose and repair the issue. I have never been as happy with an AC company as I am with Momentum. We’ll call them from now on. Five stars, would recommend.

My A/C broke down today — and in Florida, that’s an emergency! I tried to find a company in Sarasota, but no one was available to come the same day. We called Momentum AC in Tampa, and they arrived at our home in an hour. The price was better than other companies, and Rob was excellent. He quickly found the problem and fixed it. Then he checked both the outdoor and indoor units. He also showed me a mistake made by the company that originally installed our unit a few years ago — a mistake that could have caused a serious leak and ceiling damage in the future. Thanks to Rob, we avoided that. Highly recommended!

Jared Tucker was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He gave us all of the information and facts. Did not try to sell us on anything frivolous.. he actually saved us more than fifty percent per year on the same service (plus many other benefits) compared to what we were previously paying. If you live in Florida, you know how important it is to have a working AC unit in the summer months lol! Jared drove over an hour, arrived at 7pm, fixed our issues (in the hot attic) and answered all of our questions.. then headed off for two more service calls! The heat in Florida can be dangerous and we are grateful that we called Momentum AC and were lucky enough to have Jared come to our rescue! Give them a call.. you will not be disappointed!! 🙏💜🙏

Aaron from Momentum AC was fantastic. He was incredibly thorough and took the time to make sure all our concerns were fully addressed. His communication skills stood out—he kept us in the loop, checked back in with us to make sure there were no misses. Even though he wasn’t able to resolve the AC issue the same day, he reassured us that we’d receive urgent treatment to get it fixed and said he would communicate directly with our rental company to help move things along. He was professional, kind, and honestly one of the best techs we’ve had out here. Highly recommend!

Hector, Gary, and Blyase were all very professional and knowledgeable with air conditioning and getting us up to par. Aaron Thomas arrived at my house to fix the AC. Before he started I shared with him some things that I have noticed with the AC to maybe help him pin point the problem and to use process of elimination to find the solution. He listened to what I had to say and then I moved out of his way and let him work his magic. He was professional and polite. It only took him about an hour to run the tests that he needed and the AC kicked on and starting working again. He was fast and efficient compared to most other HVAC companies I have had in the past that take usually all day. I’d highly recommend Aaron to anyone if they have issues with their HVAC system. 10/10 customer satisfaction, fast and efficient and customer service. 5 stars here!

We had an unexpected issue with our AC. We were already due for a maintenance check when the unit stopped running. I was able to call Momentum early on a Sunday. The operator was able to schedule us within two hours from my call. Ryan came to assess and get it all up and running again. We are so grateful for the care he took in identifying the issue. Anthony P. and the Momentum team responded when our AC went out faster than any other company contacted. Anthony was professional and was able to visually show me the issue with the condenser and articulate potential solutions. After a fair estimate was discussed and approved, Anthony ordered the parts immediately. Upon his return trip, Anthony fixed the issue and performed diagnostics on interior vents to ensure everything was working properly. Despite dogs, children, and yard service distractions, Anthony was able to stay focused and do a great job returning us to comfortable cooling.

We had an issue with one room that never cooled down. We had another company come with no resolution. The company sent out an ac specialist and then Marco & Anthony came to replace the duct & vent. Problem is finally solved. The room gets very cool now. We definitely recommend this company.

UPDATE: 3 Jun2025. Ryan Cirillo just completed my AC checkup for the year. Efficient and did not leave a mess. Also did some extra "reaching out" to see if he could fix the temp sensor on the Tstat without replacing the whole thing. Probably gong to see up for that unfortunately. Still highly recommend these folks. had Momentum AC replace a condensation drain line in the attic to outside. Their pricing was competitive and lower than the competition. The technicians, Renato and Jesus were friendly, competent, and efficient. They spent some time verifying that it was functioning properly and not leaking. They also found a dead electrical part within the condensing unit and asked if I wanted it replaced. They located the new part, got it and installed it. They spent some time changing settings and measuring cooling output to ensure the new part and system were operating properly. Good team and a good company so far. I'll update this the next time I need them to work on my system. Off to a great start.

Having to get a new HVAC system is never a fun experience, but if you need one, Momentum A/C is the first company you should look into. We recently had to replace our system. The first couple of days they tried to correct poor workmanship from other companies. When all else failed I was told there was no option short of a new system. They installed temporary window units that kept the house at a warm, but livable temperature until new unit could be installed. Every step in the process was documented and the photos sent to me. The cost was more than reasonable, the technicians were professional and efficient. I can not recomended this company strongly enough for a job well done.
